The Family Room
The family room is where comfort is sought after and desired. The family room at our #glamfarm project is versatile. It welcomes a gathering but can also offer a quiet place to retreat.
As natural light pours in, vaulted wood beams take the space to new heights.
By The Fireplace
The fireplace features tile with a scoured, edgy pattern and an exposed wood mantel.
Adjacent to the fireplace, two upholstered club chairs with leather arm straps sit opposite a lux chaise lounge. A small drink table accompanies the chaise. Seating is arranged around the smoked glass, round coffee table with a fumed hue.
Versatility
The ottoman, styled with architectural and design books, separate the space into two areas. By creating a sense of separation, we can have two sections for various purposes which makes the space versatile for every occasion.
The hand-knotted area rug, fashioned with 100% wool, brings another layer of coziness underfoot with its warm tones and textured pattern.
Looking up, you’ll be dazzled by a 24-inch chandelier of hand-rubbed antique brass and clear glass, featuring a living finish that patinas over time.
Coming to Life
You will notice that we used quite a bit of greenery in this family room. While I am all about using faux plants and dried florals, there is truly nothing like using living plants to make a room come to life.
The pops of greenery are a beautiful contrast to the calming neutrals that we used throughout the space.
