Inside the #glamfarm Kitchen
Upon walking inside the #glamfarm kitchen, your eyes will gravitate toward the exceptional backsplash tile that reaches from the countertops to the ceiling. The inspiration derives from Moroccan tile. In particular, the curvaceous shape is a nod to globally-inspired style.
Open shelves were the natural choice for this kitchen. Furthermore, open shelves provides storage without concealing the backsplash.
Surrounding the Moroccan tile are vertical nickel joint planks that yield a seamless transition from the range backsplash to the counter-to-ceiling matte white tile on the adjacent wall.
A Glam Farm is never complete without a classic white apron front sink! We positioned the sink to take in the natural surroundings of the wooded property, making the chore of cleaning up after a meal somewhat enjoyable. Quartzite countertops were chosen for the material’s beauty, strength, and durability for a life well lived in.
Providing light over the sink, two articulating sconces of polished nickel and matte white shades flank the kitchen windows.
The cabinetry features hardware in a light bronze patina that is hand applied on the metal to create a naturally aged appearance and will lighten where touched frequently. The handmade artisanal detailing of the hardware provides a beautiful contrast to the cabinet’s soft gray finish.
At The Island
Suspended over the island are three conical shaded pendants providing ambient lighting for casual conversation while meal prepping at the small veggie sink.
Family and friends can sit comfortably in upholstered counter stools by the island.
The column refrigerators are purposely disguised and completes the flow of the kitchen.
Inside The Pantry
The double-entry provides optimal workflow from the pantry to the kitchen.
It’s complete with a built-in coffee maker and double ovens for behind-the-scenes hosting magic. Overall, this pantry is what Pinterest dreams are made of!
