Great Room Transformation
It’s amazing what can be done during a renovation. For the #NorthernFrostreno , photographed by Alyssa Rosenheck, we wanted to create a living space that was inviting, comfortable, and bright. Letting in all of that beautiful sunshine and lush backyard views was one of our goals for this area. The solution? Well, that required a bit of demolition…

Thinking Outside the Box
This great room did not start out with 18 ft ceiling heights. Originally, above the existing great room was a secondary bedroom and bathroom. By restructuring the second floor we were able to eliminate those spaces and open it up to a two story volume. Easier said than done, right? 🙂

Eliminating the second floor above the great room allowed us to install two story windows, providing lots of natural light. We also love how spacious it feels. With plenty of seating, it’s the perfect space for family game nights!
Bye, bye secondary bedroom! Hello GREAT room!
The Coffee Table
Photographer, Alyssa Rosenheck, had the eye to capture the beautiful details of the coffee table. Everything from books, to flowers, to decorative items gave this coffee table exactly what it needed—depth and character. It’s all in the details!

Looking Up
Last but certainly not least, let’s talk about what you see when you look up. We saw this space as an opportunity to hang large, glass globes at varying heights. These nine lovely pendants complimented the ceiling design and overall space without taking the focus away from it.

We love that the #NorthernFrostreno great room invites you to really live in it and enjoy it. Alyssa did an incredible job photographing the true essence of the home in its entirety. We are thankful for our clients who trusted us to facilitate the overall vision—collaborating and creating right alongside us. Their input and trust made all the difference.
