#HartBranch was such a fun project for us! Brianna’s husband Ryan, owner of Christopher Ryan Homes, was the builder who worked along our side. Not only was it special that the dynamic duo got to put their heads together, but this was their first new construction that they took on as a team! We were able to collaborate effectively on all aspects of the home, including the design and functionality.
Working with our clients was SUCH a breeze. They had seen one of our previous projects, and while the style of the home did not exactly mirror their personal vision, they put their trust in our design abilities. We decided to bring in transitional elements and focused on creating a home that reflected our client’s lifestyle. Our team only ran into one surprise during the entire project… but it was the best type of surprise we could have asked for. When the project started, our clients had one child, and by the end, they had three! They became pregnant with twins in the middle of the project. Talk about an exciting turn of events!
Enjoy!!
Instead of an all-white kitchen, we went with a soft, neutral palette that still kept the space light and bright. We selected an Oyster colored backsplash with a pattern similar to that of a lotus flower…so dreamy! The flooring helps bring in a necessary level of warmth.
(Left) The glass tear drop chandelier mixed with the abstract contour paintings and neutral fabric of the chairs make this dining room a space where our client’s can host family, friends, and guests. (Right) Creating a family-friendly breakfast nook was our main goal. We selected leather chairs for durability as well as comfort.
Bringing the outdoors in, is so aesthetically pleasing, as well as functional. The sliding glass doors fully retract, which allows our clients to be able to choose whether they want to be inside or outside in the comfort of their own living space. This custom feature portrays one of the many possibilities when it comes to customizing a home. Talk about an abundance of natural light!
We love the warmth that the dark caramel console brings into this space. The pairing of the White Ash Burl and Polished Stainless Steel base make it such a stunner! The children’s playroom is next to the Family Room, which is why we felt the need to separate the two. However, we wanted to give the option of connecting both rooms to make one greater living area. The pocket doors on either side of the console allow the adults to have their own space while entertaining, with the kids close by. Here you can really see how the Indoor/Outdoor function makes this room so bright and lively!
The “Peaceful Wave” mosaic tile backsplash gives this small space a great amount of character! Adding in a sunburst shaped Antique Silver mirror brings in a dramatic feel to this Powder Bath. We also love non-traditional elements, such as a wall-mounted faucet and vessel sink.
Mosaic tile looks just as fabulous on a ceiling as it does a wall. The natural light coming in from the open walk around shower really accentuates this detail. Our clients requested the addition of windows while still maintaining privacy, so our team’s goal was to achieve both. A soft blue paint color helps maintain a refreshing and relaxing space.
The sound of moving water and glow of the fire bowls create a serene ambience both during the day and at night. The hot-tub doubles as a fountain, which is a feature that gives this backyard a “resort style” feel. You really can’t beat that view either.
