#LAKESYBELIA
Nothing is more refreshing than a renovation! As you can see from the before photos, #LakeSybelia had good bones to begin with. Our clients loved the house and lakeside location, but before settling in and calling it their forever home, they felt that the interior was in need of some updates to reflect their personal style.
The floor plan was somewhat open to begin with, so modifying it was not a priority. At first, we focused on adding a color palette, light fixtures, and furnishings to each room. We then continued to update the details of the interior throughout. With our client’s best interest in mind, new windows and doors were added to the entryway, so that they could get the most out of their lake views. For a truly timeless feel, we selected a mix of modern and classic aesthetics that balanced out the overall space.
This project is extra special to us for a few reasons. #LakeSybelia was featured in Orlando Signature’s July Home issue – you can read it here if you missed it! Also, this photoshoot quickly became our favorite due to the help of our little model…which you can see in a few of the pictures below. Heart eyes!!

AFTER : KITCHEN
The addition of the polished nickel starburst chandelier, Quartzite backsplash, and Audrey Lane large format porcelain tile helped modernize and brighten up the space. We decided to go with full-height dark Chestnut cabinets for contrast and to assist in opening up the kitchen.

The grey, neutral palette of this room allowed us to get extra creative and colorful with the art and accessories.

We selected Romo’s metallic feather wallpaper, South American fig tree bark art, and glass chandeliers to add a good amount of texture. We removed the fireplace to maximize space.

A velvet sectional mixed with calming artwork gives this room a more cozy feel, but still has that modern look. The gold finish of the drink tables and sculptures add a perfect touch of glamour.

To modernize this Master, we added in different layers of wooden tones, while still managing to create a refreshing space.
