When our team was approached by Orlando Signature to be featured in their July Home issue, we felt so honored! After doing a happy dance (or two), our team began mentally flipping through each project one by one. A recent renovation immediately came to mind…#LakeSybelia. We wanted to showcase some of our current work, but most importantly, a home that gives off the modern, yet classic vibes we love. And this project does just that.
All of our projects are near and dear to our hearts, but what is so special about this one? Details, details, details. Take a look at the unique pattern of the porcelain tile on the kitchen floor. Not to mention the chic wallpaper in the dining room + the modern light fixtures throughout the entire space. We are firm believers that you can never go wrong with elegant aesthetics. The timeless décor really turned this house into a home. See for yourself:
LAKE SYBELIA
|| KITCHEN ||
The neutral tones + triangular shape of this large format porcelain tile from Audrey Lane completely modernize this space. Add in an edgy sunburst light fixture and the perfect balance has been achieved.
|| DINING ROOM ||
Romo‘s metallic, feather print wallcovering mixed with the art pieces made from South American fig tree bark portray the ideal amount of texture. The icy, yet warm glass chandeliers complement the creative feel of this room.
|| GREAT ROOM ||
The light wall color we selected allowed for the addition of a colorful, abstract painting and a stylish armoire.
|| MASTER BED ||
The warm tones of the wood create an intimate and cozy atmosphere, which is everything a bedroom should be.
|| MASTER BATH ||
With little natural light to work with, we kept this stunning bath clean and white to brighten up the space. In the shower, we used black ceramic subway tiles in a herringbone pattern to add contrast.
Be sure to check out the article, Home Renovation Reinvented. We hope you will enjoy it as much as we did! And last but not least, thank you to the incredible Orlando Signature team. It was such a pleasure to work with you.
xx, Team BMID
