The Primary Bedroom

The tour of the Primary Bedroom + Bath of our #modernlakeside project begins with the primary bedroom suite! The Primary Bedroom is an elegant oasis illuminated by two crystal chandeliers suspended over the bed.

The velvet upholstered bed frame is flanked by two beveled edge mirrored chests that bring a sense of glamorous sophistication to the space. The textured table lamps compliment these exquisite mirrored chests.

At the foot of the bed is an upholstered bench used as a spot to fold back the bedding. Underfoot, the hand knotted area rug displays an intricate handwoven pattern. Much to our delight, this room displays layers and layers of texture!

A Cozy Corner

By the window, a velvet lounge chair and side table are perfectly placed beside a built-in niche. The niche is a beautiful contrast to the modern aesthetic with its shelves filled in with books featuring texturally unrefined pages. This cozy nook is perfect for spending some quiet time alone while taking in the view of the lake.

Adding to the coziness of the nook is a sleek, quartzite fireplace underneath the TV. When it’s time to get some rest, floor-to-ceiling drapery is operated with the ease of motorization. With a push of a button you can let the sunshine in or create a blackout effect for a peaceful slumber.

The Primary Bathroom

Upon walking into the primary bathroom, you are met with a stunning display of polished marble laid in a herringbone pattern. A the top of the client’s wish list was a free standing tub and were able to grant their wish! Now, their tub is beautifully exhibited in the center of their bathroom.

Elegant sconces with an acrylic stem and linen shade provide a relaxing ambiance. The delicate sconces pair well with the tall vanity mirrors. There is more that meets the eye when it comes to the vanity mirrors! The mirrors have integrated medicine cabinets.

The cabinetry is painted Green Black by Sherwin Williams. This is one of my favorite bold colors to use! It truly makes an impactful statement to the overall classic aesthetic of the bathroom.
